“Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, of the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world.” Matthew 28:19-20 (CEV)
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. I chose and appointed you that you should go bear fruit and that your fruit should abide.” John 15:1-16 sel (ESV)

Questions to Stir Discussion:
When do you sense God more closely … when you are seeking Him or when you are not … how might this be educational, inspirational, and directional for you?
How has risk-doing things that you were uneasy or uncomfortable with, things that are stretching, growing and showing you … as a result, would you consider yourself a spiritual risk-taker or a risk-avoider?
How has life/God had to prune you in order to grow you? Was it painful? If so, how? Was it gainful? If so, how?
Jesus sought us and hugged us … in turn, how are you seeking and hugging those around you?
